ISO主席曹诚焕高度肯定中国贸促会与国家标准委合作机制
5月13日，由中国贸促会主办的2024年全球贸易投资促进峰会在北京举行。峰会主题为“互信与合作：变局中的选择”。中国国家副主席韩正、巴西前总统、新开发银行行长罗塞夫、国际标准化组织主席（ISO）主席曹诚焕（CHO Sung Hwan）出席开幕式并致辞。来自近40个国家和地区的贸促机构和商协会代表，驻华使节、有关国际组织和经济机构代表，中外企业代表750人线下参加峰会。
曹诚焕在致辞中，高度肯定中国贸促会与国家标准委合作机制。他指出：十四年前，国际标准化组织（ISO）和国际贸易中心 (ITC) 联合发布了一份文件，鼓励贸易促进机构 (TPO) 和国家标准机构 (NSB) 之间的合作。由于国际贸易的增长以及发达市场中高水平标准和技术监管的重要性日益增加，这种合作至关重要。它可以帮助出口商符合市场要求，增强国家竞争力，并使寻求国际贸易和投资机会的各种规模的企业，包括中小企业受益。中国国际贸易促进委员会（CCPIT）两年前与中国国家标准化管理委员会（SAC）签署合作备忘录就是一个显着的例子。（Fourteen years ago, ISO and International Trade Center(ITC) jointly published a document to encourage collaboration between Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) and National Standards Bodies (NSBs). Such collaboration is vital due to the growth of international trade and the increasing importance of high-level standards and technical regulation in developed markets. 据悉，为贯彻落实《国家标准化发展纲要》，2022年6月10日，中国贸促会与国家标准委签署合作备忘录，建立贸易投资促进机构和国务院标准化行政主管部门合作机制，标志着国际标准化组织（ISO）和国际贸易中心（ITC）所倡导的贸易促进机构与国家标准机构合作，率先在中国进入了实质性的实施阶段，将为世界各国实现贸易促进标准先行、提升贸易投资促进机构能力建设提供更多的中国方案和中国实践。
